Kristin Fisher joined CNN in July 2021, as the network's Space and Defense Correspondent. As a correspondent she will cover everything from NASA and the recently created Space Force, to commercial space firms and the emergence in space travel. Kristin is the daughter of NASA astronauts, and also an enthusiastic space lover, grew up immersed in the field. She spent five years working as the White House correspondent for FOX News covering space policy under the Biden and Trump Administrations. Also, she covered the 2020 presidential campaign as well as the efforts of two administrations to fight the coronavirus. Kristin travelled extensively, both with the president and vice-president. She was even on an extremely secret trip to Afghanistan along with Donald Trump. Kristin was a television reporter in Grand Junction, Colorado, Little Rock, Arkansas, Washington, D.C., in which she was awarded the Emmy Award for her work as the "one-man-band" reporter before becoming a reporter for CBS in 2015. Kristin made use of her experiences in front of the camera to launch Field Mouse Films. The company specialized in producing documentary-style films. It was also a favourite among corporate clients, including Uber, Starwood Hotels & Resorts. Kristin earned her Bachelor of Science Diploma in Journalism from Boston University. She and her husband, who is three years old, daughter reside in Washington, D.C.
